Pakistan Gold Prices Soar by Rs5,200 on International Market Rise

Gold prices surged by Rs5,200 per tola in the local market on Friday, following a rise in the international market. The increase was attributed to a jump of $52 in the price of gold per ounce globally.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs477,136 per tola, while 10-gram gold prices rose by Rs4,458 to Rs409,067. Typically, local market gold prices are adjusted by a premium of $20 against international market rates.

The price of silver also increased in the local market, with a rise of Rs210 to Rs7,379 per tola and Rs180 to Rs6,326 for 10-gram silver.
