Pakistan Gold Prices Spike as International Markets Gain
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Saturday, following a similar trend observed internationally. The price of 24-karat gold closed at Rs. 457,136 per tola after gaining Rs. 400, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This comes after gold lost Rs. 5,600 on Friday to close at Rs. 456,736.
The price of 10 gram gold settled at Rs. 391,920 after gaining Rs. 343. Meanwhile, silver prices jumped to Rs. 6,924 per tola after gaining Rs. 53.
International markets also saw gold gain $4 to settle at $4,346 per ounce, including a $20 premium. The market situation in the United Arab Emirates is expected to keep bullion rates under $4,600 in the coming days.
