Pakistan Gold Prices Surge Alongside International Market Gains

The price of gold in Pakistan surged on Saturday, August 24, 2026, as it mirrored gains in the international bullion market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the cost of gold per tola increased by Rs5,700, reaching a new high of Rs482,936. The price of 10-gram gold also rose by Rs4,972, reaching Rs414,039.

In comparison to the international market, gold prices had climbed by $57, reaching $4,604 per ounce, including a $20 premium. This marks a notable increase from the previous day's closing price of Rs477,136 per tola.
