Pakistan Gold Prices Surge Amid Local Selling Rally
Gold prices in Pakistan opened the new business week at Rs428,436 on August 4, 2026, marking an increase of Rs1,700 from the previous session. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by this amount, while a 10-gram package dropped by Rs1,457.
The international market saw the price of gold open at $4,060 per ounce, up by $17 from the previous session.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 22-karat gold is priced at Rs392,711 per tola, while 21-karat gold is available for Rs374,861 per tola. Silver prices also saw an increase, with a tola costing Rs6,291.
The market indicators predict continued price volatility, but analysts expect the price of gold to be supported around $3,951 and potentially move upward to $4,645, despite pressure from a stronger U.S. dollar and expectations of tight monetary policy by the Federal Reserve.
