Pakistan Gold Prices Surge Amidst Geopolitical Tensions
Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a sharp increase on August 22, mirroring the rise of international bullion prices amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions.
The price of 24-karat gold has surged by Rs5,700 per tola, reaching Rs482,936 compared to its previous value of Rs477,136, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams has also risen by Rs4,972 to Rs414,039 from Rs409,067 in the previous session.
The international market is experiencing a similar trend with gold prices climbing by $57 per ounce to $4,604 compared to its previous value of $4,547.
