Pakistan Gold Prices Tumble Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty

Gold prices plummeted in Pakistan on September 12, falling in line with international market trends. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported a significant decline in gold prices, with 24-karat gold selling for Rs456,736 per tola, down from Rs462,336 the previous day. This represents a drop of Rs5,600 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs4,801 to Rs391,577. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs4,401 to Rs358,958.

Silver prices also fell in the local market, with the price of silver dropping by Rs253 per tola to Rs6,871 and 10 grams of silver decreasing by Rs217 to Rs5,890.
