Pakistan Raises Fuel Prices Again Amid Ongoing Global Oil Market Volatility
The federal government of Pakistan has increased the price of petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs5.02 per litre and Rs5.28 per litre, respectively.
The new prices will take effect from Saturday, September 12 to Sunday, September 14. Petrol will now cost Rs375.82 per litre, while HSD will be sold at Rs403.32 per litre.
The government continues to charge Rs114 per litre in taxes and duties on petrol and Rs100 per litre on diesel.
