Pakistani Gold Prices Skyrocket Amid Global Demand
Gold prices in Pakistan have surged to new heights as domestic costs for consumers have increased. On Wednesday, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association announced that gold prices had risen by Rs4,200 per tola.
This latest increase pushed the price of one tola of gold to a record-breaking Rs463,936 in the local bullion market.
The price of 10 grams also jumped by Rs3,601, reaching Rs397,750, according to the association. This rise has been driven by stronger demand in global markets and rising international gold prices.
