Pakistani Gold Prices Soar on Strong Local Demand and Global Market Movements
Gold prices in Pakistan surged on August 7, 2026, as international gold prices also moved upward. The local market recorded strong gains, while global market movements continued to influence domestic gold prices.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola reached Rs449,236, reflecting an increase of Rs11,300 from the previous session, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. This represents a significant jump, with prices up by nearly 2.5% in just one trading session.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose to Rs385,147, up by Rs9,688 from the previous day. The international gold price opened at $4,268 per ounce and gained $113 compared with the previous trading session.
