Pakistan's Crude Oil Output Declines, Gas Production Rises

Pakistan's crude oil production dipped by 1% during the week ending August 23, while gas output increased by the same margin. According to industry data, average daily crude oil production fell to 67,556 barrels from the previous week's level of 68,032 barrels.

The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) remained the largest crude oil producer during the reported week, with an average daily output of 32,992 barrels. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) produced 12,353 barrels per day, while Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL) recorded an average daily crude oil production of 4,127 barrels.

Mari Gas produced 920 barrels per day during the week ending August 23. In contrast, gas production showed a modest growth, with a 1% increase in overall domestic output.
