Pakistan's Gold Prices Decline as International Bullion Falls
Gold prices in Pakistan's local markets declined on Thursday after seven consecutive days of gains. The decline was triggered by international bullion prices, which fell $35 per ounce to $4,380.
The local price of gold dropped by Rs3,500 per tola to Rs460,436, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs3,001 to Rs394,749.
Similarly, international silver prices declined by $1.75 per ounce to $64.57. In local markets, the price of silver dropped by Rs175 per tola to Rs6,936, while the price of 10 grams declined by Rs150 to Rs5,946.
