Pakistan's Gold Prices Plummet by Rs5,600 Amid International Decline
Pakistan's gold market saw a decline in prices on September 12, 2026. The price of gold per tola decreased by Rs5,600 to Rs456,736, as reported by the Sarafa Association. This drop comes after an upward trend in international rates, with Pakistan's gold remaining at Rs4.56Lac per tola.
The decline was not limited to Pakistan; international gold prices also fell by $56 per ounce to $4,342, with a quoted rate carrying a $20 premium. The downward trend continued even further with silver prices decreasing by Rs253 per tola to Rs6,871.
This volatility in precious metals has led to a significant drop in the bullion market, leaving it firmly in the red for the session. The previous session's gains were largely wiped out due to this downturn.
