Pakistan's Gold Prices Plunge by Over Rs11,300 in Five-Day Losing Streak
Gold prices in Pakistan have been on a downward trend for five consecutive days, with the latest drop being significant. The All Pakistan Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs11,300 per tola, reducing it to Rs454,036. This decline is also reflected in the international market, where gold prices have dropped by $113 per ounce to $4,315.
The price of silver has followed suit, decreasing by Rs270 per tola to Rs6,859. The continued decline in precious metal prices marks a notable reversal from the elevated levels seen in both domestic and global markets.
