Pakistan's LNG Prices Plummet by Up to 28% Amid OGRA Rate Cut

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant reduction in liquefied natural gas prices, affecting both the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited and Sui Southern Gas Company systems.

According to OGRA's notification, the LNG price for the Sui Northern system has been decreased by $6.81 per million British thermal units, resulting in a new price of $19.03 per MMBtu from the previous rate of $25.84 per MMBtu.

The reduction for the Sui Southern system amounts to 27.71 percent and reaches a new price of $18.13 per MMBtu down from the previously notified rate of $25.08 per MMBtu.

This change marks a substantial decline in LNG prices, with cuts ranging from 26.36 percent for the Sui Northern system to 27.71 percent for the Sui Southern system.
