Pakistan's RLNG Prices Soar 34% Amid Qatar Supply Shock

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has increased re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) prices by over a third for July 2026, affecting millions of consumers already struggling with inflation.

The price hike was triggered by just five LNG cargoes, the lowest monthly haul since Pakistan started importing this super-cool fuel.

Clients of Sui Southern Gas Company in the south bore the brunt of the increase, with prices jumping $6.4512 per million British thermal units to $25.087, a 34.6 percent rise.

The RLNG prices in the country have surged more than 144 percent since the unrest began in the Middle East.
