Pan African Resources Expects Significant Earnings Growth in 2026
Mid-tier gold producer Pan African Resources is expecting significant earnings growth in its financial year ended June 30. In a trading statement, the company revealed that it anticipates a 141% to 151% increase in earnings per share (EPS) and a 195% to 205% increase in headline earnings per share (HEPS). These figures are compared to the previous year's results.
The boost in EPS is attributed to a higher average gold price received, which increased by 54.8% to $4,235/oz for the year under review. Additionally, Pan African reported a 38.3% increase in gold sold to 272,373 oz. The company also met its all-in sustaining cost guidance of $1,870/oz.
Pan African's operations are spread across South Africa and Australia. The company expects to achieve its production target for the current year, with a projected output of between 280,000 oz and 302,000 oz of gold in 2027. This increase is mainly driven by higher output from Tennant Mines in Australia.
