Patriot Resources Expands Silver-Gold Project in Peru, Copper Portfolio in Zambia
Patriot Resources (ASX: PAT) has expanded its Silver-Gold Project in Peru, adding a new block to the south of its existing JORC resource. The new block brings the total strike length to approximately 3.1km, with the potential for significant silver and gold deposits.
The project's exploration target is estimated at between 559Moz and 774Moz silver equivalent, making it one of the largest undeveloped silver systems in the world. Patriot Resources believes that historic holes may extend into the new license, although this has not been confirmed.
The company has also received a positive update from Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mines, with its Environmental Impact Declaration remaining valid and free of any observations. This is an important step towards the first drill program on the project.
Patriot Resources is continuing community engagement and will soon require only the last approval before starting Phase 1 drilling. The company is also expanding its copper portfolio in Zambia, where copper prices are at all-time highs.
