Perseus Mining Fair Value Rises Amid Expensive Gold Shares
Perseus Mining Ltd, an Australian gold mining company, has seen its fair value increase according to Morningstar. However, the recent surge in gold prices has made shares in the company expensive.
The company owns three gold mines in West Africa: Sissingue in Ivory Coast (86% owned), Edikan in Ghana (90% owned), and Yaoure in Ivory Coast (90% owned). Perseus acquired Tengrela project in 2004, which became its majority-owned mine. The exploration license that became the Edikan mine was bought in 2006, while the Yaoure mine was acquired via a merger with Amara Mining in 2016.
