Petronas Strengthens LNG Collaboration with Japan through Master Sales Agreement

Petronas LNG Ltd (PLL) has strengthened its liquefied natural gas (LNG) collaboration with Japan's Japan Organisation for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) through a Master Sales and Purchase Agreement (MSPA). The agreement aims to safeguard Japan's energy security while respecting Malaysia's domestic supply needs.

The MSPA reflects the long-standing energy partnership between Petronas and Japan, with JOGMEC being a Japanese government agency operating under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

Petronas executive vice president and chief executive officer of gas and maritime business, Datuk Adif Zulkifli, said that this agreement reflects the strength of the trust Petronas has built with JOGMEC over many years.
