A fresh wave of fuel price hikes is looming next week in the Philippines. According to Jetti Petroleum, diesel prices may increase by as much as P4.25 per liter, while gasoline could go up by P2.50 to P3 per liter.

The estimates are based on the first four days of trading in the Mean of Platts Singapore and foreign exchange movements.

The increase is attributed to a rise in world oil prices due to waning hopes for peace talks in the Middle East.
