Gold prices in the Philippines rose on Thursday, according to data from FXStreet. The price of gold stood at PHP 9,184.69 per gram, up from PHP 9,124.61 on Wednesday.

The price increase also extended to other units, with gold now trading at PHP 107,135.30 per tola and PHP 285,685.80 per Troy ounce.

FXStreet calculates gold prices in the Philippines by adapting international prices (USD/PHP) to the local currency and measurement units.

The data highlights the safe-haven status of gold, which is widely seen as a hedge against inflation and currency depreciation.
