Phoenix Copper has successfully raised $3.12 million in funding to advance its Empire Mine project in Idaho, which is expected to see improved economics due to higher metal prices.

The mining company completed the fundraising after the first half of the year and generated approximately $2.6 million after expenses.

Phoenix also repaid its short-term convertible loan note in full on August 4 and has extended its cash runway into the fourth quarter of 2026 through cost reductions and the sale of non-core assets.
