PIF Contributes 11% to Saudi Non-Oil GDP in 2025
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) reported significant contributions to Saudi Arabia's economic development and diversification efforts in 2025. According to Maram Al Johani, Chief of Staff and Secretary General to the Board of Directors at PIF, the fund contributed approximately 11% of the country's non-oil GDP that year.
The cumulative contribution of PIF to Saudi Arabia's real non-oil GDP since 2021 reached SAR 1.28 trillion. The fund strengthened its global presence by opening offices for three portfolio companies in Europe and Asia, alongside selected investments in key markets, contributing to a 12% increase in international investments.
PIF continued its transformation into a fully digitally enabled investment institution, leveraging artificial intelligence, and maintained a strong position among the world's leading sovereign wealth funds in terms of adherence to the Governance, Sustainability, and Resilience (GSR) Index standards issued by Global SWF for 2025.
