Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) has issued a stern warning to K-Electric (KE) regarding its outstanding payments for re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG).

According to PLL, KE owes Rs6.75 billion in unpaid dues for RLNG supplied between May and July 2023.

The state-owned LNG company maintained that all invoices were issued in accordance with the Gas Sale Agreement (GSA) between PLL and KE and were based on the RLNG tariff notified by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

PLL stressed that compliance with the GSA is mandatory, and KE is contractually obligated to settle its dues. The company warned that unilateral withholding of payments constitutes a breach of the agreement.
