PNG Expansion Scheme Kicks In as LPG Prices May Rebound
The government's new scheme to expand domestic piped natural gas (PNG) connections will come into effect on September 1, 2026.

International passengers departing from India will no longer need to get their boarding passes stamped at immigration counters from September 1, as they can use an electronic boarding pass on their mobile phones or carry a printed copy instead.
LPG cylinder prices may be revised on September 1, and consumers should check the latest rates announced for September in their respective cities.
