Portland Grain Bids Rise Amid Increased Demand

The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its Portland Daily Grain Bids report for August 13, 2026. The report details futures settlements and cash grain bids at Pacific Northwest ports.

Chicago Board of Trade corn futures settled at 448.00 cents per bushel for September 2026 delivery, while December 2026 corn settled at 472.00 cents. Soybean futures for November 2026 settled at 1182.25 cents, and September 2026 wheat settled at 652.75 cents.

Cash bids for US #1 Soft White Wheat with 10.5% protein were quoted at $6.40 to $6.55 per bushel for current delivery, up 5 cents on the low end. Hard Red Winter Wheat bids for ordinary protein ranged from $7.1550 to $7.3050, down 0.25 cents.

The report also listed bids for other wheat classes, including Club White, NS/DNS, and Heavy White Oats.
