Portland Grain Prices Rise Amid Declines in Other Crops
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its Portland Daily Grain Bids report for August 11, 2026. The report details current bids for various wheat classes and oats at Pacific Ports.
The average price of US #1 Club White Wheat with 10.5% protein was $6.7375 per bushel, compared to $6.2167 a year earlier. This represents an increase of 9.2%. Bids for this type of wheat were quoted at $6.45 to $6.90 per bushel.
The prices of other types of wheat and oats also saw declines. US #1 Hard Red Winter Wheat ordinary protein bids ranged from $6.97 to $7.12 per bushel, down 11.5 cents. Higher protein levels followed similar declines.
