Positron Energy Wins ₹33 Crore Gas Contract Through Competitive Bidding
The company will begin delivering the allocated 1,44,000 MMBTU of natural gas within days, with the arrangement set to wrap up in less than a month. This agreement is part of Positron's strategy to stack up smaller allocations, which contributes more significantly to its revenue growth than any single large contract.
Positron has maintained its competitive edge in the market, winning this allocation through bidding rounds that are becoming increasingly common due to government initiatives to boost natural gas usage. The company's balance sheet is also in a relatively healthy state, with ₹81 crore in cash and a debt-to-equity ratio of 0.05x.
