Gold and silver prices have settled into a state of stability after recent fluctuations. Despite this, other precious metals such as platinum are showing relative strength. The Federal Reserve's shifting rate expectations and resilient US economic data are contributing to these market dynamics.

Spot gold has remained largely unchanged at $4,396.69 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery have fallen 0.4% to $4,440.80. Silver prices, on the other hand, have held steady at $67.30 per ounce.

In contrast, platinum and palladium are experiencing gains. Platinum has risen 0.1% to $1,897.57, while palladium has gained 0.2% to $1,355.44.
