Precious Metals See Mixed Movement: Gold Down, Silver Up
On July 29, 2026, gold prices experienced a decline in the international market, while silver saw a slight increase. The mixed movement of precious metals kept investors focused on the latest market trends. At 9:40 AM, the international gold price was recorded at $4,024 per ounce, with a decrease of approximately $2.6 per ounce.
Silver, however, moved in the opposite direction, reaching $57.4 per ounce and gaining around $0.2. This small rise indicates that silver demand remained stronger than gold during early trading sessions.
The Pakistani precious metals market also reflected the latest international conditions, with the gold price recorded at Rs429,000 and the silver price at Rs6,250 on Wednesday morning.
