Pritzker Slams Big Oil over 'Profiteering' during Iranian Conflict

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has written to the CEOs of seven major oil companies, accusing them of 'profiteering' from the war in Iran.

The letter, sent on Wednesday, claims that the companies are using the conflict as a pretext to increase prices and reap windfall profits from Illinois consumers.

Pritzker implores the companies to return their excess profits to consumers, arguing that it is 'the very definition of profiteering'.
