QatarEnergy Extends Force Majeure on LNG Deliveries to Early November
Edison, an Italian utility company, has confirmed that QatarEnergy has extended its force majeure on liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries to early November. The extension brings the total force majeure period to seven months, impacting a significant amount of gas.
The force majeure affects 29 cargoes and represents around 3.8 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas. This is a substantial impact on the global LNG market, which has already been experiencing disruptions due to various factors.
