The incident occurred on August 1, 2026, and involved the GasLog Shanghai. No casualties or environmental impact were reported.
The UK Maritime Trade Operations had earlier stated that a tanker was hit off the Omani coast, causing damage to its engine room and rendering it unable to maneuver.
