Quetta's gas supply has been suspended in several areas due to a fault in a major pipeline. According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), a 16-inch-diameter valve was affected, causing the issue.

The spokesperson for SSGC stated that technical teams are conducting emergency repair work and expect to restore gas supply by 6:00 p.m.

Affected areas include Eastern Bypass, Link Badini, Sariab Road, Qambrani Road, and Kirani Road. Gas supply has also been temporarily suspended in other areas surrounding Mission Hospital and Akram Hospital.

SSGC has advised residents to make necessary arrangements for their daily needs until gas supply is fully restored. The ongoing crisis nationwide is due to a shortage of RLNG (Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas), resulting in reduced gas supply to its lowest levels.
