Radicle Corn Challenge Backs Pioneers in Sustainable Plastics and Bio-Based Products
The Radicle Corn Challenge has named two innovative companies as winners of its competition to create new market opportunities for U.S. corn growers.
Citroniq and Future Origins were selected from a pool of applicants around the world, with Citroniq focused on transforming the plastics industry using 100 percent bio-based polypropylene produced from ethanol derived from corn.
FUTURE ORIGINS IS WORKING TO REPLACE INGREDIENTS TRADITIONALLY PRODUCED FROM PALM OIL AND FOSSIL-BASED RESOURCES WITH CORN-DERIVED FEEDSTOCKS.
