The domestic stock market is entering a significant trading week, with several key factors influencing investor sentiment. The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) interest rate decision on August 3-5 will be closely monitored by market participants.

Ajit Mishra, SVP at Religare Broking Ltd, noted that 'This week is expected to be eventful, with the RBI Monetary Policy Committee meeting emerging as the key domestic trigger.' He added that investors will also track the ongoing Q1 FY27 earnings season and quarterly earnings of largecap and midcap companies.

The global market sentiment will remain influenced by developments surrounding the US-Iran conflict and stability of crude oil supplies through key shipping routes, according to analysts.

Foreign investors have turned net buyers after four straight months of selling, injecting Rs 20,200 crore into Indian equities in July. The attractive valuations, improving corporate earnings, and easing global headwinds contributed to this shift.
