Regional Powers Unite: Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan Sign Defense Pact
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have taken a significant step in strengthening their collective defense by signing a key agreement.
The pact was sealed during a meeting between Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the holy city of Mecca.
The agreement is designed to enhance mutual deterrence against potential aggression and ensures that any attack on one of the three nations will be considered an attack on all three.
This move brings together oil-rich Saudi Arabia, nuclear-armed Pakistan, and Turkey, which boasts NATO's second-largest army and a rapidly growing defense industry.
