Rezaei Warns No Oil Will Flow Through Hormuz if US Economic War Continues
Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has issued a warning to the United States and regional countries regarding the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on his official X account, Rezaei stated that if the US economic war against Tehran continues, no oil will be exported through the strait or the Persian Gulf.
The warning comes as preparations are underway for the administration of US President Donald Trump to impose new economic sanctions on Iran. The US has already redirected 70 commercial vessels since July, disabled three others, and boarded two, as part of its sanctions campaign against Tehran.
Rezaei also emphasized that Iran will consider any country's participation or support for the US economic war as a declaration of war against itself. This warning underscores the escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, with regional stability remaining a priority for all parties involved.
