Rockies Region Slows to Idaho Gas Price Drops
Idaho gas prices continue to rise, reaching an average of $4.35 per gallon, according to AAA Idaho. This is a five-cent increase from last week's price and a whopping 82 cents higher than this time last year.
The summer driving season may be over, but the impact on consumers' wallets remains. The cost of food, entertainment, and travel increases when fuel prices go up, affecting service-based businesses like delivery services that struggle to absorb or pass on the costs to customers.
Matthew Conde, public affairs director at AAA Idaho, notes that 'The Rockies region is slow to react to price changes in other parts of the country,' but hopes that global crude oil prices will stabilize and lower demand during the fall season may bring some relief.
