Rottenstone Northwest Drill Program Yields Disappointing Results for Inspiration Mining
Inspiration Mining Corp. recently released the results of its maiden drill program at the Rottenstone Northwest Gold-Copper project in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.
The four-hole diamond drill program consisted of a total of 608 meters and returned background levels of copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold across all 94 core samples.
While the best gold intercept was reported at 0.276 g/t over 1 meter within a broader low-grade interval, management framed the campaign as valuable for refining geological understanding and guiding the next phase of work.
The company's CEO noted that despite the lack of an economic discovery in this initial drill campaign, the improving gold and copper price environment remains promising for future exploration.
