RSPO Impact Report Shows 20% of Global Palm Oil Supply Now Certified Sustainable
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) has released its latest impact report, showing significant growth in certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO) supply. In 2025, a total of 16.2 million tonnes of CSPO was sold, accounting for 20% of the global palm oil supply.
The RSPO's 'Impact Report 2026' highlights that while this represents significant progress, there is still potential for growth. With a total capacity of 31.4 million tonnes, RSPO member growers could supply nearly 40% of global demand if all their certified land was used.
Growth in CSPO supply has been strongest in Latin America, where RSPO members accounted for almost 75% of regional output. Africa saw a 46.23% surge in supply, while Malaysia experienced a 9.07% expansion.
