Russia Blocks Ukraine Grain Exports, Threatening Global Food Supplies
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia's attacks on Black Sea shipping threaten food supplies to Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.
The escalating strikes on cargo vessels and port infrastructure have blocked Ukraine's main grain export route, potentially triggering shortages and price increases across multiple regions.
Zelenskyy discussed the crisis with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, stating that Ukraine is one of the largest food suppliers to Egypt and many other countries in Africa and the Middle East.
