Russia is considering additional support measures for its grain producers due to slowed exports from the Azov-Black Sea basin.

A meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture on August 12 discussed various strategies, including extending short-term preferential loans by up to one year in regions with grain surpluses and providing subsidies for grain producers, which may include additional funding for areas controlled by Russia in Ukraine.

The Russian Grain Company has confirmed that it is selecting extra storage capacity for the federal intervention fund.
