Russia Sees 8% Jump in LNG Export Revenues in August
Russia's sea-borne liquefied natural gas (LNG) export revenues rose by 8% year-on-year in August, according to data from Russia's Ministry of Energy. The total revenue for the latest half-month period exceeded $1.3 billion.
The increase in LNG export revenues reflects higher shipment values over recent weeks, as Russia continues to export sea-borne LNG to foreign markets despite challenges facing its energy sector.
