Russia Slammed by Ukraine's Most Intense Bombing Campaign of the War
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine escalated significantly as Ukraine launched its most intense bombing campaign of the war, targeting key infrastructure in Russia. According to reports, a total of 1,165 drones, bombs, and missiles were downed or destroyed by Putin's forces.
In the city of Belgorod, just 20 miles from Russia's border with Ukraine, a drone factory was targeted by Ukrainian drones. The facility, which is used to manufacture drones and train pilots, suffered significant damage, with eyewitnesses describing it as 'a disaster'.
The attacks also hit two major oil refineries in Saratov and Ufa, as well as a Wildberries base at Novosemeykino in the Samara region. Additionally, fuel trucks heading to Russia-controlled Crimea were struck, further disrupting supply chains.
