Russia Strikes Vessels and Port Facilities in Ukraine's Black Sea Ports

Russia's Defence Ministry reported that its forces struck five vessels at two Ukrainian Black Sea ports. The ministry claimed three cargo ships carrying supplies for the Ukrainian military and a tanker were hit at Pivdennyi, also known as Yuzhny.

Another cargo vessel was struck at the nearby port of Odesa, according to the Russian Defence Ministry. Port infrastructure at Pivdennyi and Odesa, along with fuel storage facilities at Chornomorsk, were also hit by Russian forces.

The reported strikes involve three of Ukraine's main Black Sea ports: Odesa, Pivdennyi, and Chornomorsk. These ports are crucial for Ukraine's grain exports, including wheat, corn, barley, and sunflower oil.
