Russia Surpasses 50-Fold Growth as Top LNG Supplier to China
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced at the Russia-China Energy Business Forum that Russia has become one of China's top three suppliers of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
This marks a significant growth in LNG supplies to China, with volumes increasing more than 50-fold over the past decade.
The Russian government is also supporting major projects in the Arctic zone with Chinese corporations, aiming to ensure conditions for their implementation and utilizing the Northern Sea Route as an additional route for energy shipments to China.
