Russia Suspends Gas Supplies to Armenia Amid Dispute
Russia has temporarily suspended gas supplies to Armenia, citing an agreement that is set to expire in early 2027.
Gazprom Armenia reported this development, stating that it will not affect consumers in Armenia as domestic reserves and additional volumes of natural gas from Iran will be used instead.
The suspension comes amid ongoing disputes between Russia and Armenia over the supply agreement, with Russia warning that Armenia's pursuit of closer ties with the EU could lead to the termination of the bilateral agreement.
