Russia Suspends Grain Export Duties Amid Disrupted Shipments
Russia has suspended its floating export duty on wheat, barley, and corn until the end of 2026 due to disruptions in grain shipments through the Black and Azov seas.
The move was made 'given the need to restructure logistics,' according to an emailed statement from the Economy Ministry.
This decision affects more than 70% of Russia's grain exports, which are critical for global food supplies. The country will maintain zero export duties on these grains until December 31st, while sunflower oil export duty remains frozen at August levels.
