Russia Targets 50 Bm3 Gas Delivery to China in 2026 Via Power of Siberia-2

Russia plans to supply a significant amount of natural gas to China in 2026. According to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Russia aims to deliver 50 billion cubic meters (Bm3) of gas via the Power of Siberia pipeline and Kazakhstan.

The Russian company Gazprom and Chinese state-owned oil and gas giant CNPC are engaged in talks about a second pipeline project, which was recently renamed from Power of Siberia-2 to Power of Baikal. Novak mentioned that the intergovernmental commission will discuss the project on Friday.
